Base Backtest
Constraint-driven backtesting for Base L2 DEX trading.
In DevelopmentBuilt under the limits that actually exist trading Base L2 DEX pairs — on-chain slippage, swap fees, real liquidity depth — because backtest research that assumes idealized fills is a story, not a system. A look-ahead bug found mid-project downgraded one strategy from production-ready back to needs-more-research — the kind of correction a marketing deck doesn’t publish.
What it is, plainly
A frontier application built for a Malaysian constraint that existing tools either ignore or addressed last decade. The lab built it because no one else had — and could back it with a build log, not a marketing deck.
Why a lab built this, not a SaaS vendor
SaaS vendors sell standardized features at scale. The edge case that doesn’t exist for ten thousand other customers is exactly the one that breaks your operation. Base Backtest is built around the Malaysian edge case, not in spite of it — and the lab maintains it because the lab understands it.
Where it stands
Status: In Development.
This is an honest label. No “coming soon” theatre, no inflated readiness claims — if it’s experimental, we say so. If you want the current build log, talk to the lab.
